Spider-Man swung on a web-line across the night sky, dragging a type of web cocoon in his free arm which carried the barely alive Chaos. (Or so he thought.) Our hero was on his way to meet with Reed Richards. Just then, Chaos flexed largely and freed itself from the cocoon. Spidey was thrown outta whack by the unstableness of Chaos' rage.
"l don't think so, missy! Playing raccoon is against the rules!"
Spidey flipped to catch himself in midair, landing on the side of a skyscraper. Chaos, however, landed on the side of a building across from Spider-Man.
"Time to finish our dance now, Spider!" Chaos snickered.
"Dancing? I dunno... it's been so long..."
Spider-Man thrust off of the building towards Chaos, but Chaos did the same. Chaos threw a hard swipe at Spidey, but they were then thrown back from a powerful kick to the midsection from Spider-Man.
The Rose Goblin hovered down towards the Daily Bugle from above, grinning as ever. She touched down behind the towering letters. Prancing around as she stepped from her glider, she pulled a small device from one of her pouches, and set it just behind the letters.
She then walked over to the fire escape, where she began to climb down towards a window with a wide grin on her face.
"Say mercy!"
Spidey had pinned Chaos down against the roof atop of a building, pulling her arm behind her back with a smile on his face.
"Agh!! Let go of me already!"
"Hey lady, l got all night. Just say mercy and we'll take you to the authorities and it'll aaaall be over."
Chaos struggled to break free from his grasp. Their back was covered with webbing, so it was almost impossible for Chaos to break lose, at least, from her skill. She attempted to fling Spidey off of her, but her arm would just be pulled even harder.
"This is getting boring, you know? You're siblings were much more of a challenge, I'm kinda insulted!"
"ARRGH!" Chaos struggled to get up.
Spidey shook his head as he emptied out a large batch of webbing into Chaos' back, pinning her to the ground. He then backed away, hearing an explosion.
"Duty calls! Time for this spider to fly-- err, swing."
Spidey leapt off of the edge of the building with a salute to Chaos, firing a webline off as he disappeared below.
As Spidey arrived on scene, he saw his 'brother' Ben Reilly already to the rescue as The Scarlet Spider. The Daily Bugle was on fire, although many didn't know why. This can't be good! Peter thought.
Spidey leapt up to the building side to take a peek inside, when he was met with a large explosion that his spider-sense barely had time to respond to. He threw his back into the eruption as he leapt off of the building in unison with the explosion.
"Yikes! That almost turned me mushier than MJ's pancakes!"
The Scarlet Spider back-flipped off the top of the Daily Bugle with J. Jonah Jameson in his arms, who was ranting and raving. The Scarlet Spider swung on a web-line towards Spidey, simply dropping J.J.J flat on his face. The fire department pulled up on scene, doing what they could to put out the fire.
"Is everyone out?!" Spider-Man spoke to the Scarlet Spider.
"Yeah, I think that's everyone. Jolly over there was the hardest to keep from spazzing out." Scarlet Spider shrugged.
"Can you blame him? That's the man's life up there!"
Spidey took a glimpse upwards to the sky where he saw The Rose Goblin aboard her glider. In a bit of rage, he leapt up towards her, firing a web-line to a nearby building that wasn't in flames to go after. She smiled and darted towards a building.
The Rose Goblin touched down on a roof top where she awaited Spider-Man. Oddly, Scarlet Spider didn't follow his 'brother.'
Spidey leapt up with tremendous speed towards the building, landing in a Spider-like stance. The Rose Goblin leaned back against the rooftop shed-like entrance seductively.
"You know it's not nice to blow up people's homes and places of work."
"Yeah, but after all you've done, I would think you deserve it!"
Rose Goblin's grin turned into a deeply angered look.
"What're you talkin' about?!" Spidey stood up to look to her.
"Don't play like you don't know what I'm talking about, Peter."
Rose Goblin swayed her way over to Spider-Man, her lips curving back into a seductive grin. Spider-Man folded his arms and kept his stare on her. Chaos then leapt out from behind Parker and sent a devastating spear tackle into his back. Rose Goblin skipped backwards to avoid being stumbled into.
Spidey quickly turned around to face Chaos from the ground, but was hit with a powerful blow to the stomach area. Rose Goblin leapt back towards Spidey, spraying a type of knock out gas from her wrist into his face. Spidey struggled, but passed out. Rose Goblin grinned and sat atop him, running her finger across his face.
"I don't think I'm gonna leave you out in the trash where you belong this time, Petey. I think.... I think we're gonna have a little fun..."
The Rose Goblin grinned evilly.
