His eyes flashed slightly...then opened fully. Lying there deathly, the unmasked vigilante known as Spider-Man (a.k.a. Peter Parker) stared blankly to the warehouse ceiling. A dirty ceiling, along with rafters was all he saw before he realized what had happened. He then sat up with the aid of his palms.
A man stood to the right of him in the shadows. He looked to our hero, not knowing what to say. He remained with his hands in his pants pockets, only his figure being seen in the shadows. Peter's eyes darted to him, followed by his head.
"Who are you?!" Peter demanded as he realized he was unmasked.
The figure continued to stare at Peter, his face stirred with mixed feelings.
"I'm you." he announced, stepping out from the shadows to reveal himself to Peter.

The Rose Goblin's glider pulled into a large factory on the outskirts of town. "Oscorp Industries," the sign read. Another sign lined diagonal from the right down to the left reading "Closed Down" was nailed to it.
Her glider let out a roar as she hovered into the abandoned factory via broken skylight. She, on her glider, began to spin slowly as she touched the ground with a small thud. The glider's roar faded as it shut off, and the Rose Goblin stepped off.
She stepped lightly more into the factory's command center, her eyes watching every corner for any possible person, creature, or weapon that may catch her eye. She continued walking down the corridor outside of the command room until she found a room with a small sign on it.
"Storage Facility," she smirked as she read the sign to herself. Taking one last look to the left, then to the right of the corridor, she opened the unlocked door and entered the room slowly.
Although, a creature she is unaware of is indeed watching her. From within the shadows outside of the entrance to the storage facility, were evil, white spider-like eyes.

His eyes enlarged, Peter leaped off the table, pulling his mask on over his head.
"Ben....! It can't be! l saw you die!*"
[*Back in the Spider-Man: Revelations storyarc--Dino]
"I... I don't know what to say, Peter."
"Well, you better have some major explaining, pal!" Peter ordered in anger.
Leaping quickly towards the man known as Ben Reilly, our hero grabbed Ben's collar, pulling him towards himself quickly. Ben held his hands onto Peter's to hold himself.
"Peter! Lemme explain what I know!"
"Then do it fast!"
"If you let go of me, it would make it a lot easier..." Ben pleaded.
Peter blinked, considering what he was doing. He let go of Ben's collar, then crossing his arms as Ben began to straighten out his trench coat.
"I remember that night--when the Green Goblin had knocked me off of the 'Bugle with his glider onto that taxi..." Ben started, looking down slightly. "As you carried me up onto that building... it all faded black.*"
[*Again, in Spider-Man: Revelations--Dino]
Spider-Man hung onto every word, his eyes narrowed slightly to his "brother."
"When I awoke... I felt so funny. It was like I was reborn. I was in a laboratory of some type... but then I blacked out." Scenes of him in the lab, flashed through his mind.
"I can't remember anything after that, except for walking down the street. I saw you and that... woman and I knew the first thing I had to do was find you... and my niece, and MJ. So I followed the two of you until you were knocked off of that building. I wanted to help you... but I felt so weak..."
Peter's eyes remained hidden under his mask, but he continued his narrow on Ben's face, not to sure what to say. His eyes broke from the narrow as he approached Ben with a slight sincere look in the shape of his mask's eyes.
"It's good that you're back, brother," Peter spoke as he hugged Ben.

As the Rose Goblin was browsing through old files on a pretty much stone-age computer, a great amount of pain shivered up her spine. There was someone... or something in the room with her.
She continued to type as the chill subsided. All the files had been under great security measures that weren't very easy to hack into. Except for one. The file, "Symbiotic Breading," had not been under too much protection, for it came up on the screen by demand of the Rose Goblin.
Just as the file loaded completely, and she was about to read it, a chill shot up her spine once again as she instinctively jerked around to see what it was, if anything. When she saw nothing, she turned back around to the computer. When she saw the creature, she let out a horrible scream.

Atop a building in the shadows of the night, Ben Reilly pulled on a red glove onto his right hand. His left already covered with one itself. He then clipped a brown belt from the center with what seemed to be web cartridges on them. And lastly, he pulled a scarlet mask over his head.
The Scarlet Spider is back.
NEXT ISSUE: The Scarlet Spider? And what is the Rose Goblin doing searching Oscorp's computers for Symbotic Breading? Who is this creature?
